Amanda M. Sullivan was raised in the charming town of Dunedin, Florida, surrounded by her supportive family. Growing up in such a close-knit environment instilled in her strong values of dedication, resilience, and community.
From September 2007 to September 2013, Amanda proudly served in the United States Navy as an Aviation Warfare Systems Operator. Her role involved tracking submarines from a P-3C aircraft, search and rescue, and ISR missions supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn. She spent most of her deployed time in Japan, Bahrain, and Qatar.
Directly after being honorably discharged from the Navy, Amanda began her college career. She completed her Associates Degree in a year, her Bachelors is Business Supervision and Management in a year and completed law school in two and a half years.
From 2015 to 2017, Amanda served as the President of Alimacani Elementary’s PTA earning the Florida State PTA of the Year award both years. She led an incredible team of board members, friends, family, and community-minded individuals. Together, they served over 1,000 students in Duval County, Florida, each year, hosting over 75 events annually to benefit the students and their families. During this time, Amanda was also attending law school, working part-time at Lowe’s, and raising her amazing daughter.
Amanda has been working as an attorney for the firm since she was admitted to the bar in 2018. The firm handles wills, trusts, estates, real estate, probate, trust administrations, and general civil litigation. Amanda works in all these areas, playing an integral role and working hand in hand with Thomas P. Altman to help clients plan for their futures and protect their legacies.
Amanda is a devoted mother to her 15-year-old daughter, who brings immense joy to her life. She ensures to spend quality time with her daughter, engaging in activities they both love, and supporting her daughter’s interests and education. Amanda finds great fulfillment in being actively involved in her daughter’s life, balancing her professional commitments with her role as a mother. In her leisure time, she loves to enjoy the serene beauty of the beach, explore new destinations through travel, and cherish moments with her family. Amanda is passionate about woodworking, fishing, golfing, and solving puzzles, finding these hobbies both relaxing and rewarding.
